points to remember

i am subjected to the following problems

danger
mental suffering
physical suffering
emotional suffering

these above points although they are general points that you do not use often as you may think of specific theories and perspectives to deal with issues everyday.
however, it is still helpful because by remembering them only, you will remind yourself better by knowing that these three types of suffering and dangers may happen to you so that you are more prepared in cases where these points are useful.

so, you just remember this 4 things. other theories you can just write them down somewhere.

what i have learnt is that there is no one or few theory that i have to remember that will connect to other theories, at least for now. there are too many situations and possiblities in life right and each has very different theories. therefore, everytime i write summary theories does not give me complete power neither do i remember them because at the end of the day, what you need to do is to have many different theories all in your head and you can quickly retrieved the right one and apply them to the different situations.

anyway, i need to say something, a few important points that i think i have to remember.

your aims

your aims

to achieve calmness of the mind and behavior at all time even if your body is in discomfort state.
to prevent unexpected event from affecting you and remain calm in your body during the event
to be aware of your body physical state changes that ranges from discomfort to calm feeling and to know the factors that causes it
to separate physical state from unrelated issues

the physical body will change according to the factors i mention before. so do not imagine yourself to be energetic, comfortable and peaceful internal body all the time. it is hard to control.

the mind, behavior and your actions or easier to control and maintain a calm and unruffled state.

so from now to the day you die, you will be meeting with different situations with unqiue experience sometimes. during all the time, your physical body state is pretty much hard to control but your mind and behavior can be controlled.

being in the moment

things like waiting, walking, idling in a stationary position, nothing to do are activities too which are frequently not being aware of.

and as i have said before, you know need to feel shiok or have pleasant feeling. in life, being calm and emotionless is good enough.

like being stationary, dun feel like doing anything or thinking anything but have no stress, then you friends or people around you are exhibitng laughing or happy moods, no need to question yourself why you are not like them or feel confused. no need to question what is the right reaction and dun know the answer. the right reaction in life is to be calm that is good enough, and pay attention to your body state and isolate it.

your mind and behavior can be learned to be correct but not doing uncessarily things, keeping harping your answers in your mind.

first you have to know that thinking helps you to understand more things but it improves your life moderately only. life is still not within your control.

spending time on studying and working will also improve your life. to achieve the final goal of life requires you to achieve all the small goals at every moment. small goals of studying would be like to understand one question or to understand one definition. if you do not work at this present moment, the future will not contain the effort brought from the current moment of working.

to transit from thinking to working, you need to stop thinking first, then feel your body then remember and know its characteristics over time and proceed to study.

what to expect throughout my life?

1. either you are focussing on an activity ie talking with interviewers, cleaning the rifle
or you are not doing an activity like thinking and reflecting.
2. feeling neutral and calm is the best you can get other if you are not excited or feeling shiok, that is all you need, even if other people are exhibiting happy moods and asking you why you so bored.
3. feeling neutral, which reflects your body peaceful state, some discomfort or tired.

I was thinking about test, how I should be calm about it. Then I feel my body to check its condition. Then I went back to thinking as I feel that something is amiss yet. So I think about the holiday. What I did wrong was to not know more about my physical state.

The physical state is not enough to know that it is tired, hungry or know your surrounding. You must also know what usually happens in this situation, like when tired you will closed your eyes frequently and tend to go to the bed to rest frequently. Because this reactions are happening now and later so they are current affairs. Knowing them will enable you to adjust your expectations, and decide what to do correctly.

Your body will always be stuck in the present and soon moment first. The problem that I face just now that I was not aware the characteristics and reactions of my tiredness and instead allow the tiredness to be put into my thinking of the test.

You do not understand well the present moment and its feeling and effects, and separate them from your thoughts.

unable to get the mood to study

what i found out

problem: i could not get myself back to study
action: i begin to think about my theories and hope to get back to study by understanding some truth. while thinking, i also ensure that i am aware of my body discomfort to prevent confusion.

outcome: i keep thinking and finding new theories, sometimes it seems like i have found an answre which will convince and make me proceed to study correctly, but after getting the theory, i still do not feel convinced to study now. i keep thinking about the being in the present theory, the physical awareness theory and try to imagine that i am studying now method to understand and find a solution.

solution found: it was find that in order to study, the main thing is to STOP THINKING, and be in the present now. then you will concentrate on your present moment and naturally you will study soon.

deciding between how to allocate time for different subjects for exam.
different choices.

if study for coming 10% test, face the possiblity of not having enough time for three later subjects.

but if forsake 10% and start studying for 3 later subjects, the 10% subject will get almost zero which i feel is a big loss.

feel a little stress which should not have happen. got a little absorb into the issue forgetting the body physiology is being connected to issue.

what happens when i am in stress which are irremovable?

you seem to have this question where you dunno what to do if you were in period of stress.

the answer is this. if you are in periods stress, so be it. it is itself a kind of incident. playing computer game is an incident, taking an exam is an incdent and feeling stress which can be unlearned is also an incident. the process of suffering is same as walking, singing or quarreling in that it occurs only when you are alive, and it runs on casulity and it is an incident.

anyway, i think my stats are quite low. normal period = 5% stress
stress period = 30%. very stressful = 60%

stress definition is quite broad for me. doing things quickly and not aware that you can no need to do so fast means you cannot control yourself well and will subject yourself to stress.

thinking, deciding and acting is a common source of stress becaue a lot of time our beliefs and actions are not parallel and this can create confusion and frustration easily. however, no matter how different our thoughts, decision and actions are, we should not feel emotional over any discrepency.

mistakes, contradicitng actions, errors are independent of my physiological body. even if we commit them, we should just take note of it. that is all.

i still have a lot of imprvement in my stress managment techniques.

summary of life from now.
stuck in a body, in a certain view i will be always until i die. i will keep sensing my body but when i am doing things, i will be doing the thing i am in (singing). the number of things i will do is very different from one another. singing and handling some machine is hard to relate to one another right?

the external world runs on a schedule, there is always a timetable and things will run according to it. 1st week syllabus, lab session, proect meeting, tests and finally exams. then holiday, it is your free time planning. back to school will kick start another timetable schedule. in my reversit traing also got. in my work in the future it will be even more changes in events according to timetables and unexpected event.

these changes does not wait for you. you can be calm or nervous, foucssing on your breathing or thinking about theories but it is going to run on its own because there will be people enforcing this changes, and you have to keep up with it or else you may fail at times.

changes, planned or unexpected ones will stay and change accordingly, but you will remain in your body, with the character, behavior, habits and thoughts that change less frequently than these external changes.

as said before, there are two planes which you have to distinguish and has good control on them.
your inner body and outside world, which has much differences and a good balance is needed. causlity(time) will occur continously within yourself and the outside world. the important points are the following.

there are good and bad outcomes in life. it should not be linked to your physiological body and hurt it.

there are painful period and non painful periods. pains like headache or fever are irremovable pain.

pain intenisty and variety ranges from mild, medium, large and infinity. infinity pain intenisty and varitey is superbad outcome and unbearable.

so a zero stress life is it really great?
a zero stress life compared to a life where you do not learn about stress has a large difference in terms of the amount of pain disocomfort you experience. without stress you will not experience any of the below common feelings. it is a gradual thing however, meaning as you need to one by one to become more calm.

-anxiety

-guilty
-hatred
-inferiority
-depressed
-lonely

for normal human, negative emotions deos not occur frequently, based on my experience, it occurs may every 50 hour you will experience 1 hour of stress. most of the time we will be feeling normal and doing our things.

the frequency of stress is not constant. it increases when things like exam, certain fear is coming or when certain unexpected bad things happen. when there is no stressor around, then there is very little stress. minor things like cannot find your handphone, watching television, and waiting for soemthing for too long also can cause stress.

the above stats may not be good enough. during little stress period, the percentage is 1%.
during stressful period, the percentage is 6%.

judging that the frequency may not be very high, one may think that learning to be calm may not be very important. in terms of physical pain period, it may not be very frequently that we feel discomfort, however, it has some effect on the decisions that we make due to these pain, the characters , beliefs and attitude we form.

outcome of things can go many possible routes and there are good and bad. there tendency is that thinking about things and about their reasonings, the effect and the plans easily caused confusion and conflict of desire and interest which easily connects to the physiological body and condition it to create pain like frustration and impatience.

not aware of stress occuring

there may be incidents that stress is occuring on me and i do not know. i will only know that i am feeling frustrated about something, impatient or angry but it will not occur to me that i have to take note of this event as source of removable stress and remember so that i can prevent it from happening the next time.

thus, an important thing for me is to uncover these unaware stress that hit me without me knowing.

example. i was thinking that i still have a project that i have not done and i was unwilling to do it because i want to study for my core subjects but it is something that still has to be done the project. the thought of this then cause frustration and pain which are removable as the thought of project and study balance create a corresponding physiological discomfort conditioning effect.

in order to do things correctly, you have to be very alert all the time and has huge experience in mindfulness and has many knowledge to react rightly, think right and control your physiological body.

you have to be alert and flexible on two frontiers and is able to switch between two places quickly, correctly and know the characteristics of each aspects and their correlation.

these two aspects is the body and the situation you are in. the situation affects your body and your body interact with it. you will become more efficient if you can handle these two aspects very well. become very calm and has no stress.

throughout your life, you will be left with irremovable pain, until some fatalistic, great misfortune or death occurs....................

summary

i do not know how my calmness skill is now. if you calmness skill, it only mean that you will not have removable pain. if it is low, you will suffer mental, emotion and physical stress now and then.

you have to still aim to achieve calmness because it really helps to minimze the suffering in your life.

if death occurs, then too bad, it is a bad thing.
if intolerable, unimaginable, unbearable, excuriating and maddening pain or discomfort occurs forever either mentally, emotionally or physically, then it will happen and it is a very bad thing.

from now, you will be stuck with present moment all the time, in your body. however, your encounters in life will change. at one moment you will be studying biology, then the next is electronic devices and the next moment you may be standing in front of a priest in some ceremony. soon you may find yourself dealing with a person who is scolding you and you have to figure things out.

as you can see, your surroundings event will change irregardless you feel calm or not calm. as you are thinking of all those calm theories, your situation is not going to wait for you. it is going to remain same if the condition says so and change when it should.

these experiences are going to be unrelated with each other but they are all part of your life and experienced by the same body of yours. you will decide why you want to do them, and think and observe each moment of your life or you may also be just totally absorbed into the situation.

time will pass, your cells will regenerate, and as a human being you will approach death. so you continue to experience life, and plan things. at the end of the day, you will mostly likely just die. during which pain, experience and other things will occur.

as long as you forget to focus on your body discomfort caused either by tensioning of some muscles, state of your body or certain pain, you will then be stress.

- thinking of someone you are afraid of or thinking of a sentence that someone has made you feel hurt physiologically, can create a certain tightening of some muslces somewhere in the head, neck and/or chest region.
- watching an event that has good or bad outcome like fanatic fan watching penalty kicks, or seeing your family member being put in a dangerous situation that may or may not cause death or suffering will create a corresponding contraction and relaxation of muslces that reflects the danger of the situation.

removing all stress

stress occurs in two ways. one is the discomfort of body that comes by itself. another is the discomfort of the body caused by the tension of certain internal muscles.

instead of knowing that the discomfort comes from our body or the tension of some internal muscles, we place the discomfort on external source like meeting your boss or taking an exam, this will cause stress which will remain while the event is on.

there are few ways to remove stress. one way is to sit down and think of all the events that can can stress. catergorise them will help you to predict the that a event will be stressful. it also helps you to apply the solution of controlling you stress from one situation to another similar or different one. by finding all the events, you can also practise imagining them or go towards them in reality to experience and learn how to remove them.

a second way is to focus on the physiological aspect and the awareness of body. by increasing your mindfulness, whenever stress occur, you will remeber to look at your body condition first and then sort it out from the problem. if you mindfulness is low, you will simply just get absorb into the event and will not know how to remove the pain.

hence, even if i have told myself that all removable stress are caused by body, it does not mean that i will automatically don't have stress in life.

definition of stress

actually stomache is a form of stress.
but in my article i do not use it in this way. so my defintion differs from the standard one.

my definiton of stress is pain that can be remove. like a person feel painful over rejection. this kind of pain can be learn to remove.

why learn about stress

stress occur primary physiologically. if one can remove stress, all is left is irremovable pain which can still be very painful. this shows that even if we can remove stress, we are still subjected to pain. nevertheless, we still have to remove stress because it helps to reduce the amount of pain we encounter in life so it is a good thing in general to learn stress managment.

two types of physiological problem

imagination of event and then forget about present discomfort, the physiological reaction and get stuck with thinking about the event and assoicate the discomfort with it. keep looking for answers in the event and forget to take care of your present body discomfort.

2. when you waiting for an outcome or you anticipate an outcome , you deliberate create a discomfort physiologically if you do not know the answer but is kept waiting. you assoicate the process of being in the unknown period as painful and scary period and this is being done by unknowingly creating a physioloical discomfort to validate that this process is indeed painful one.

ex. in extreme cases, like having ahand being chopped off. you feeling numb but with clear mind. you dunno whether you are going to die or not. the period of not knowing if you will die causes you to fear by physiologically changing your internal muscles to create the tension of discomfort. you will not know that by relaxing this muscles you will relieve the stress, so instead you keep feeling the tension of discomfort and assoicate it fact that you are afraid of the unknown. "will i die?" will be the focus for as long as the situation remains in the unknown, along with the removable pain.

although there are different experiences which make you feel afraid because they are so unqiue and different so you thought that it becomes impossible to make sense all of them.

the common thing about all these diverse situation is that you remain in your body in all these situation.

and the important and common aim in all these situation, in your whole life is to ensure that you do not lose control of yourself to automatic habitual self that auto pilots. you must be fully aware of your body and maintain control instead of allowing the situation to connect to your body.

know that there is a discomfort
know where is the discomfort
able to control physiologically to become relax
able to change your situation and surrounding using some common sense to make your body more relax.
able to remember doing everything slowly with constant speed will prevent stress

you can experience different things in life being a student, engineer, in quarrel, in hosiptal and in beach. each scene has its own setting which you will realize that it is so specialize that you have not try it before.

you begin to wonder why is there things that are so new to you and cause you to be so absorb that you realize that you cannot find a single coherent meaning to life as a whole. it seems to you that life is thus unconnected because there are so many unqiue things that are unrelated.

the truth is that because the world is too big so we will experience things that are unique and unrelated by a large margin.

however, our focus is not to be afraid of such disparity in life experience. our connection of all these differnt and unrelated experience is the reason why we are in these situations. and all these adds up according to causality, your beliefs.

a dislike

when i am nervous, scared, fearful,

i find that every movement , action i take is accompanied by the discomfort.
i will start to physiological control and slow down to be calm.

and i will then dislike it if i cannot get rid of the nervouness. which i think is wrong.

possible bad things

i have been saying that i will be calm and lead a stress free life now and then, sometimes i say i am the greatest person.

to counter this assertion and mellow down my belief of my calmness ability. i just like to remind myself that in terms of calmness it is

possible that i will experience sick, terrible feeling or panic attack that shakes and tremble my body uncontrollably. it could also develop into prolong fear and anxiety that consumes my life. depression, mental problems, disorder could arise. and so on.

There are still traces of sick and terrible feeling within me today. In terms of physiological explanation, it happens through the thoughts first, and it somehow leads to certain discomfort in the chest, breathing, head region and a little nausea. Something like that.

The common error of emotions is when emotions hit the body in producing some reactions, you will start to think irrational, imagine wrong things and perceive things emotionally according to the emotion.

It attracts thoughts, beliefs, behavior, reactions that form a paste between them.

In general:Stress comes primarily through the body so the general solution is to have a lot of knowledge about body with respect to the issue of stress.
Alternatives to be stress free:Topics that talks about how to prevent stress from other perspectives other than from body’s.Know that when body has a lot of irremovable discomfort, you will do lousier for something and be okay with it.

Types of error.
You decide to forgo one chapter and concentrate on the rest but the question turn out to be easy. However, if you have spread your time to all chapters, you would be able to do all of them. The cost of this mistake is small.

You thought that a chapter is tested but you found out that there is a email saying that it is actually not tested. The cost of the mistake is higher because it is very unlikely to miss the email. However for the first mistake it is not very frustrating because it is hard to guess how the question will come out in what fashion.

Common reaction:
The more costly or bad a decision, incident or error is, people will be more emotional, more shock, more frustrated.

The less frequent or less likely something an incident, wrong decision or error will happen, the more effect it will have on people if it happens.

Ideal case:
We plan to be calm no matter how minor or serious a decision, error or incident because being nervous, frustrated or emotional is suffering.

Correct attitude:
Rare, very costly or very big mistake or unlucky incidents do happen in life so we must accept this fact.

Ways to practice calm in this type of shock:
Search for examples and classify them, imagine them happening and learn from them.

summary

The most important thing will always be body awareness because it is constant medium where you will be always stuck with in your life wherever you are and all stress will lead to the body. This is because our sense of self and existence requires the body.

You will hence alternate between stress period and non stress period. During stress period, you have to know the methods of body awareness (mindfulness) to minimize the pain you feel.

During non stress period you will not think about your body and be just be focusing on the thing you are doing. All this happens only if you are alive and death can occur anytime in many ways. The most common death caused by aging, followed by diseases.
